ACCELERATING NET-ZERO
Sharing Knowledge and Building Networks:
A Collaborative Approach to Net Zero
This project is designed to empower businesses and communities across Canada to adopt low-carbon technologies and reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
Introduction

This project commenced on April 1, 2024, and will conclude on March 31, 2027.
Developing a Net Zero
Pathways Toolkit
A user-friendly online toolkit to provide businesses and communities with essential knowledge and practical approaches to reduce their carbon footprint. The toolkit will include regulatory information, checklists, best practices, tools and technologies, available supports and other guidance and information resources.
Hosting 20 Green Horizons Roadshows
across Canada
We will host events from coast to coast that bring together industry representatives, community leaders, academia, and our network of environmental experts for learning and knowledge sharing. We will encourage collaborative dialogue so organizations, communities, governments, and experts can share success stories or best practices, case studies and available supports on climate mitigation strategies and implementation, including greenhouse gas emissions reduction and low-carbon technology adoption.
Establishing Sustainability Industry Networks
We will expand the EP® Employer network to attract businesses actively involved or interested in helping Canada reach its net-zero emissions target by 2050 and create opportunities for them to connect and discuss low-carbon technology adoption and other climate change solutions.
Creating and launching a national sustainability awards program
